The airline offer service to the airports like Arturo Michelena Int'l Airport, La Chinita Int'l Airport and Santiago Mariņo Int'l Airport. Venezuela became the last country in South America to make the commercial aviation as one of the effective means of transportation. Aeropostale which is presently called as Aeropostal Alas de Venezuela C.A was a French company which came to Venezuela in 1929. At that time it was owned by Marcel Bouilloux-Lafont. The airline was considered to best to link Caribbean Islands with South America. The idea of linking was executed on July 3, 1929. The first flights of the airline was carried by three Latecoere 28. By 1933 the government of Venezuela purchased the airline.

Even after the Venezuelan government took over the airline it was run by French personnels. The name of the airline was also changed into Linea Aeropostal Venezolana (LAV). The first international flight of the airline began in July 1945 to Boa Vista a city in Brazil. The second international destination of the airline was Aruba. The commercial operations of the airline was ceased in 1994 and the airline company was sold to Aeropostal Alas de Venezuela in 1996. The airline resumed its operations on January 7, 1997.

The fleet of aircrafts which is operated by Aeropostal Alas de Venezuela C.A are McDonnell Douglas MD-82, McDonnell Douglas MD-80 2 140, McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30 2 112 and McDonnell Douglas DC-9-50 2 135. The airline is offering excellent service to its passengers. In the past ten years the airline has been offering best flight service to many international destinations.
