The Big Sky Airlines is an American commercial airline which has it’s headquarter located in Billings, Montana, USA. The airline company is entirely owned by the owned by Big Sky Transportation Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MAIR Holdings. This airline service operates scheduled passenger service to 15 different cities with the maintenance of a hub at the Billings Logan International Airport in Billings, Montana. The place from where the airline flies to some of its non stop routes what it does not do from any other airport. The Big Sky Airlines is a major air link in the Montana state acting as a major commercial air carrier to several small airports in the state. Big Sky Airlines ended with its east coast operations on 7th January, 2008.
The Big Sky Airlines was established in the year 1978 with its operations on September 15, 1978. Within a sort time it took over the over Aspen Mountain Air's Essential Air Service routes during the month of October 1998.
