Access Air was an important airlines that provided services to the cities such as Los Angeles, California and Peoria, Illinois In United States from its hub in Des Moines, Iowa from 1998 to 2001. Some of the other cities served by Access Air included Colorado Springs, Colorado and Moline, Illinois and it even received several landing slots at New York's LaGuardia Airport. The airline's headquarters was in Moline in Illinois in United States. Access Air operated their Boeing 737-200s. It was shut down in the year 2001. This was due to low loads as well as poor management decisions. During its earlier days, the company has served their passengers with the best facilities on board. At that time, every minute details were taken care off and people would love to travel by this airlines. The customer services offered on board were also one of the best. But slowly and slowly the services offered by this aviation company started to degenerate. There was a fall in the quality of the services as well. Thus there were not much people who used this airlines. So there was a major loss which the company has bear which ultimately resulted in the closing of the company. The was an attempt by the company to restart their services. But after attempting a small restart by operating the charters and talk of flying four times per day from Des Moines to Chicago Midway, it was later on completely shut down.
| The logo of Access Air was a stylized with a capital "A" with a circle around it. The aircraft was actually a bare metal with a red stripe along the window line. This continued to the rudder but this was not in case of the rest of the vertical stabilizer. There was also a black stripe under the red one on the fuselage. This was very attractive to look at as well. The fleet of Access Air included four 737s which were registered in the US as N621AC, N623AC, N624AC and N625AC. N621AC and N623AC. These aircrafts originally flew under German registration for Lufthansa.

After Access Air service, N623AC operated as PK-JGR in Indonesia for Jatayu Airlines as well. Various services were offered by the Access Airlines when it was at the helm of affairs. This included the frequent flier programs, gift certificates, discounts and various others.
