Israel is one of the most economically developed countries of the middle east Asia. Israir is operating both domestic flights and and air taxi services from the different airpoprts in Israel. Israir is now operating domestic services and air taxi services from Eilat Airport, Ben Gurion Airport, Haifa Airport and Sde Dov Airport. Isair is also operating charter services to the foreign airports. Israir runs its international charter services from Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel to the different airports located in many parts of North America, Europe and Asia.
Israir also runs VIP flights from the different destinations in Israel. This airline in Israel has acquired the status of the 2nd largest airline in Israel. In respect of the number of employees this airline in Israel ranks just after El Al. It is widely believed that Israir is made on the model of Jet Blue a low cost air carrier in the USA. This airline in Israel was set up in the year 1989. At the very onset this airline was known as Kanfei HaEmek (Valley Kings). This airline changed its name in the year 1996. Israir Airlines started first started its domestic services from the different airports in Israel. After running the domestic Israir airlines run the international charter services to the different destinations in Asia and Africa. This Israeli airline starts its first flight over the Atlantic Ocean in the June, 2004.
Israir airlines runs its first regular charter services to the Kennedy International Airport in New York. Israir later acquired the required permission to make this charter service into a scheduled flight.This permission was granted to Israir Airlines on May1, 2006.
Israir airline has announced the plan to keep Sky-Torah scrolls in each of its carrier. These Torah-scrolls are the Jewish scriptures which are kept at the time of flights for the Jewish passengers. This was the first attempt by any Jewish airline to entice the religious Jews to avail any flight.
