Faroe Islands are a group of islands in Northern Europe. It is located between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean. Faroe Island was under Denmark since the year 1948 and later on it became independent. Faroe Island has close connection with Iceland, Shetland, Orkney, the Outer Hebrides and Greenland. Faroe Island also forms part of Nordic council. The economy of Islands Faroe is dependant upon agriculture and sheep rearing.
