On 25 December in the year 1999 De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter 300 (9N-AFL) of the Skyline Airways came crashing down within 5 minutes just after it took from Simara Airport and flew towards Kathmandu. There were three crew and seven passengers all of who were killed. On 17 July 2002 De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter 300 (9N-AGF) of Skyline Airways on its way from Jumla to Surkhet crashed into the tress, flying at an altitude of 6500 feet in bad weather. There were two crew and two passengers all of who were killed.
