The Cambodian Kingdom that was previously known as Kampuchea is a Southeast Asian country housing a population of 13 million. Choeung Ek Execution Area: this execution area is located to 15 km to the southwest of the city center and is reputed as one of the places of mass execution during the rule of Khmer Rouge. The disinterred skulls of the victims are displayed behind glass panels that are also known as the Memorial Stupa that was erected in the year 1988.

Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda: this attraction built in 1866 contains the articles of interest like the Khmer-style Throne Hall, Royal Treasury, Villa of Napoleon III, famed Silver Pagoda, Emerald Buddha, and Buddha statue made of 90 kg of gold and adorned with 9,584 diamonds.
National Museum of Arts: located to the north palace grounds this museum being designed through Khmer-style contains the historically important artifacts and sculptures dating back to the Angkor era.
