Airline Flights |
In the present age, time has become the most important commodity. A difference of a millisecond can change things for worse. Be it a scientific research or even a daily job, you hardly have any right to waste even a moment. Gone are the days when work used to be done in a leisurely manner. In this era of break neck speed communication processes needs to be fast and simple. Thus traveling by air is gaining popularity over any other mode of communication. Traveling through air became popular among the common masses after the Second World War. Before the World War II, availing flights for transportation was in the domain of a privileged few. As civil aviation started developing, many airlines also came to the forefront.
The Douglas DC-3 was the first airliner which was made exclusively for carrying passengers. Many such airline flights developed in the USA, in subsequent years. Europe also did not lag far behind and the airline flights of Europe started providing services within the continent. Over the years even the Asian countries developed airline flights of their own. Till the 1970s, the airline flights of almost all the countries used to be the national flag carriers. These airline flights were being sponsored by the national governments of the respective countries.
The Airline flights usually fall under the category of “Civil Aviation”. Civil aviation, in turn has two divisions, General aviation and scheduled aviation. General aviation includes both private and commercial, non-scheduled flights. At present, the airline flights use aircrafts manufactured by the following companies:
