Miami International Airport is a public airport situated eight miles from the northwest part of the central business zone of Miami, in unorganized Florida, Miami and United States. Miami International Airport is situated between the cities of Miami, Doral, Hialeah and Miami Springs, the unincorporated community of Fountainbleau and the village of Virginia Gardens.

Miami International Airport was founded to flights in the year of 1928 as Pan American Field. Formerly, the Miami International Airport was controlling the ground of Pan American Airways Corporation which was on the northern part of the advanced airport belongings. After Pan Am gained the Rio, New York and Buenos Aires Line, the Miami Airport switched most of its functions to the Dinner Key seaplane land, departing Pan Am Field mostly not in active use till Eastern Air Lines started flying there in the year of 1934, after the National Airlines in the year of 1937.

As an international entrance to the United States the Miami Airport has secured third position and it keeps behind New York-JFK which is situated in New York City and LAX in Los Angeles.
